Background

Skin diseases has accounted for a high percentage of all medical visits around the world remaining a major cause of disability. The pathology of the manifestation and treatment of skin disease is still a hard nut to crack for the scholars of Ayurveda. Ayurveda and its treatment methods have a lot to contribute in the field of dermatology.  A better comprehensive understanding of the basics, pathology & treatment of skin disorders facilitate a practitioner to expertise in the field of dermatology.

Objectives:

1. To build confidence in handling varied presentations in dermatological conditions.
2. To develop a skill in designing a treatment protocol
3. Explore the scope of psychological interventions on some specific psycho-cutaneous disorders.
4. To sensitize with the limitations in the practice of Ayurveda dermatology

Programme Duration and Structure:

6 days course- 18 hours programme with 12 classes (3 hours per day).
